Annual ceremony to honour the memory of Polish Armed Forces during WWII

 

 

On 3 September at 12.00 o clock, the now annual ceremony to honour the memory of Polish Forces during WWII was held the Polish Armed Forces Memorial monument at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas. The event was attended by a large number of people who had traveled from all over the UK to be at the commemoration.

All national Polish Ex- Combatants Association (SPK) colours were represented at the memorial ceremony.

Mr Tadeusz Juhre from Aqualate Hall, represented both the Sovereign Order of Polish Knights of Malta as well as The Polish Heritage Society UK and placed a beautiful white and red flowers at the monument. 

The SPK organisation was represented by its Chairman and other branch members, spiritual support was provided by the Rev Marek Reczek from St Andrew Bobola Church in London.
