The National Memorial Arboretum, near Litchfield, Staffordshire, England, comprises 150 acres of woodland and memorials dedicated to the fallen servicemen and women from WWI, WWII and other conflicts of the 20th Century. At present there is no memorial dedicated to the Polish Forces who lost their lives during WWII.
For your Freedom and Ours
Polish Forces served with the Allies from the first day of war until the last—fielding the fourth largest Allied army in the fight against Nazi-German tyranny across Europe. Poles gave their lives on all fronts—on land, at sea and in the air, where they distinguished themselves with courage and self-sacrifice.
Why the Polish Forces Memorial is so important
The new Polish Forces Memorial will pay tribute to these fallen heroes and will provide a focus for remembrance of the Polish men women and children who sacrificed all—For Your Freedom and Ours!
